We are rolling out a patch for the VPN client on Tuesday, February 24th, 2026. You will receive a notification in the morning at 10:00AM EST, prompting you to install the update. Before the installation begins, you will have the option to either restart immediately or schedule the reboot at a convenient time later that day. If no action is taken, the update will automatically install and force a reboot at 8 PM to complete the process.
If you don't see the prompt to schedule the installation, you can manually check for the update by launching the FortiClient, navigating to the "About" tab, and verifying if the update is available. Please note that installing manually will prompt an immediate reboot, so be sure to save your work beforehand to avoid disruptions.
